As university student, Dörthe wandered into a lecture she wasn’t supposed to be in and came out with a thesis that became ‘Being Eclipsed’. Spurred on by the possibility that the Irish government was considering closing all adoption files for the next 30 years, Being Eclipsed was self published on March 8th, 2021, International Women’s Day. It’s available in both English & German.

What we did
We took Dörthe’s manuscript from the page to the microphone by:
- Finding a copy editor
- Conducting a narrator search
- Recording & Editing & Mastering the audiobook
- Help upload the finished audiobook onto DD’s chosen audiobook distribution platform.
